We have an driveway laid that won the Brett’s award for the best driveway laid two years ago which was now covered in algae and lichen and moss. We called Phoenix driveways to give us a price to clean it. Not only were we pleased with the price but the driveway looks like new again. They returned our first phone call the same day and made an appointment to suit us. They showed us lots of example of there work, there quote was very good. They turned up on the day they said they would to do the work even though it was cold and wet. They cleared up and left the place cleaner than it was before they came. Next day they brush in the kiln dry sand. We would use them every time without doubt and recommend them. Since doing ours we have seen them working in our road many times cleaning driveways.

They came when I was out and all the gutters had been cleared by the time I got back, leaving no mess. Also cleared a roof valley of weeds. All done for a very fair price and no more overflowing gutters! One gutter was still overflowing, but they came back and had to replace the downpipe as it was completely blocked and couldn't be unblocked without breaking it. The cleaning was fine. The boss Adrian claimed to be experienced in the application of resins. The seal that they applied caused the drive to turn white when it rained. We complained and they tried to remove the seal by jet spray, it failed and caused damage to the surface of many of the natural sandstone blocks. They tried again with the same result. He then said he had consulted the resin supplier and I agreed to let him try to remove the seal with a chemical the resin supplier had provided. This he agreed he would do in April 2016. He did not. He will not respond to my messages.

A large driveway and terrace were expertly cleaned and re-sanded together with all garden paths. A number of extras (garden furniture, walls and gateway pillars) were included without charge. A 24 year accumulation of moss was cleared from the roof by careful brushing. All members of the team were punctual , polite and hardworking, leaving everything beautifully clean and tidy, with garden furniture, planters etc. Returned to their original positions. They used roof ladders but failed to actually use them to move across the roof, therefore standing on the tiles and cracking and breaking them. Although they state they replaced broken tiles, they damaged the foam lining in the attic whilst doing that and hence leaving an ingress for water, which during the christmas period, when we had driving rain and high winds, let rain enter into the roof space and damage the bedroom ceiling, which we discovered on our return from holiday. Our insurance assessors stated they don't pay for bad workmanship and we have had to have a new roof.

Adam and Harry arrived promptly just after 9:00 and, apart from a problem with the machinery which developed a fault but which they quickly got fixed, they worked continuously until both areas were beautifully clean. They noted the positions of pots, lifted them out of the way and replaced them when they had finished and left everything tidy. My drive and back patio was covered in algae spores and blackened. The equipment used is substantial and has brought the surfaces back to looking like almost new. I am very pleased with the present result but apparently it will actually become cleaner in the next few months after it has rained. Who would believe a team of guys could work without a radio blaring out!! The easy way to clean the roof would have been to pressure wash it but after reading reports and taking advice I am convinced that the hard work of scrapping all the moss off is better for the roof tiles and far less messy. Whilst talking about mess it was of no concern because at the end of each day the guys cleaned up and bagged the moss which they then dispossessed of at the end.

The drive had been tarnished by rust after a skip had been left there for several weeks over the Christmas and New Year, when it had rained heavily. I was very concerned that the normally clean and attractive drive had been ruined. Phoenix were recommended by the drive fitters and I contacted them and they assured me that they would be able to carry out the work carefully They came and worked hard to clean the drive and then tackled the rust. It took several hours of hard work. The result wa incredible. The rust stains were removed and the drive is back to its original state- as when new

We cancelled the job, they still turned up and "cleaned" our gutters when we already had them cleaned by another company the day before who was much cheaper and more professional. After we challenged the invoice stating no work was carried out and we wouldn't be paying they became aggressive and gave my partner verbal abuse. I called and explained what gave them the right to talk to my Mrs like that they denied and stated they did do the work and "hopped over our back wall to do the rear" even though our back wall is 10ft high and impossible to "hop over" Avoid these con artists!

Moss expertly removed and roof coated using a procedure that will not damage the roof and will provide lasting protection. Gutters and downpipes also cleaned and all debris removed. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Really pleased with the team from Phoenix that worked hard cleaning our roof of 40+ years old moss and muck. Cleaned the gutters and sprayed a sealant on to keep the roof clean of moss. They cleaned up after themselves and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

The estimator explained what work was required, the warranty, etc = 10 years, and how the sealer will work. Paperwork with all the details of the compnay and agreements, Cost agreed, paid for once all the work was completed with a full inspection. Cleaned the site and took away all rubbish. Chris and his team did an excellent job at short notice to remove all moss from our roof, apply treatment and hoover our gutter. The team were pleasant to deal with and very thorough. Moss removal was done by hand to ensure minimal damage to roof tiles and they came back to apply an additional layer of foam to ensure it dried properly in the damp weather. Excellent job of clearing moss from a large high pitched roof, and then spraying an inhibitor to deter future growth . Very efficient, courteous and well organised team who made light work of a job which, to my layman’s eyes, looked a daunting task . Forget the rest, these guys are simply the best. A wonderful service provided by Phoenix - I called about a blocked downpipe that was causing issues and they came out the same day to unblock it, which resolved the problem. They then came back another day to clear my gutters and were tidy, courteous and did a great job!

A team of four arrived on time, carried on with the job as required. Three hours later the job was completed which I am pleased with. The cleaning process was done by scraping the moss of the roof, washing the tiles down then treating with a moss repellent, (will need to see how effective this is) At no time was a jet wash used which can cause damage to the roof. At what I consider a a reasonable price

Very impressed with Phoenix. They were recommended to me by a neighbour and I am extremely pleased with the quality of work. Chris and his team did a very professional job using top quality materials and were extremely courteous and professional. It was a big job with over 150 sqm drive and a large roof. Both were very heavily covered in moss and leaf residue but they managed to do an excellent job. Several of my neighbours have complimented on the great finish and some have already booked them to maintain their own properties. I have re booked them for December to clean our gutters.

I hired Chris and his team to remove moss from my roofs, including the garage. They were polite, on time and hard working. It was potentially dangerous work carried out over two really hot days. This company does not use a high pressure water spray to remove the moss from roofs; it's all done by brush and then a final liquid treatment to kill any remaining moss growth. They even repaired/replaced a few damaged tiles for me. It does make quite a mess but that's unavoidable and Chris and his team did their best to mitigate the amount of moss left over after dislodging it. Very pleased customer.

Communication was excellent - windows/soffits cleaned to a high standard and the workers were proficient and professional - at the front of the house they had to work around a bed of flowers out in bloom and not a single stem was broken - very pleased and would highly recommend.
